This concentrate is made in Japan, from unripe ume plums. Called baniku ekisu in Japan, the concentrate is 30x the strength of the pickled ume plums, without their high sodium content.
Ume plum concentrate has been used in China for over 2000 years for its health promoting properties. It has been used by soldiers in the Japanese military since the 1920s for its antiseptic properties, and by Japanese sailors for its ability to prevent dysentery and motion sickness.
The key advantage to Ume plum concentrate is its ability to neutralize acidity and balance the body's PH. Thus, it is used to treat acid indigestion, candida, constipation, Crohn's disease, diarrhea, nausea, stomach flu, fungal conditions, g.e.r.d., ulcers, and general stomach upsets. It is also helpful for headaches and heart conditions. Ume plum concentrate can be used externally for athlete's foot. In the case of athlete's foot, apply the concentrate externally, as well as taking it internally as directed.
Instructions:
Use the small spoon enclosed with the Ume plum concentrate to measure out a pea-sized serving. Then, dissolve the concentrate in hot water or tea. Drink this solution 1-2 times per day. The concentrate may be taken without first dissolving it in water. If there is severe stomach flu or diarrhea, the mixture can be used 3-4 times a day for several days. However, do not continue multiple doses for more than a couple of days in a row. For best results do not use the mixture multiple times a day for multiple days.
